OUR BIOGAS STATIONS
Sasejo operates a network of modern biogas stations in strategic locations across northern and central Sweden, including Kiruna, Boden, Luleå with two stations, Piteå and Falun. All stations are equipped for Compressed Biogas, CBG, and the stations in Kiruna and Luleå, Krossvägen, also offer Liquefied Biogas, LBG.
Our stations are available 24 hours a day and are designed for heavy duty transport and long distance traffic, as well as passenger vehicles powered by gas.
Our goal is to establish a nationwide network of approximately 20 combined stations offering both LBG and CBG before the end of 2028. Planned locations include Kalmar, Jönköping, Mjölby, Nyköping, Sundsvall, Östersund, Umeå and Storuman.
All stations will offer Swedish produced biogas, contributing to a more sustainable and cost efficient transport sector in Sweden.
WHY SWEDISH BIOGAS?
A FUEL WITH A FUTURE FOCUS
Biogas is a renewable fuel produced from organic waste such as food waste, manure and sewage sludge. It is a well established alternative that works for both heavy transport and passenger vehicles.
Swedish biogas is produced domestically, reducing dependence on imported oil and gas. This strengthens Sweden’s energy security and makes the transport system more resilient.
Biogas production creates local jobs, primarily in rural areas, and supports Swedish agriculture and companies involved in biogas production.

We offer both Compressed Biogas (CBG) and Liquefied Biogas (LBG). Sasejo’s biogas maintains very high and consistent quality, adapted for modern vehicle operations and existing infrastructure.

Sasejo conducts extensive procurement of biogas volumes from small and medium sized biogas producers in Sweden.
These producers are often farmers who have chosen to contribute to the transition toward a circular and renewable energy system, where manure that previously contributed to greenhouse gas emissions is instead transformed into a valuable resource for energy and nutrients.
